A retd hurt is not the same as a regular injury. Sometimes, the player can return to the field. This is the case with Ashwin, Mushfiqur, Pollard, and Imam-ul-Haq. In these situations, the batter will be able to continue his innings later in game.
Ashwin
Many IPL fans were stunned when Ashwin was allowed to leave in the 19th match of the IPL. He had just been in a 68 run stand with Shimron Shetmyer. Ashwin was injured and the commentators on-air had to confirm that. After being hit with a delivery by Avesh Kan, Ashwin was forced to quit.
The decision by Ashwin has been questioned. Many argued that Ashwin should have been allowed to play, but some players are known for abusing the batting substitution rule. The team has now decided to field Riyan Parag in Ashwin's place, and the decision to replace Ashwin has become a point of contention.
Mushfiqur
Mushfiqur Rahim has announced his retirement from T20I cricket after more than a decade of playing the game. He took this decision after he failed in the Asia Cup 2022. His coach from childhood claimed that he was trying to adapt to T20 cricket too hard and was also testing his character to make his T20 career successful.

Mushfiqur, who made his debut for Bangladesh in 2005, is their most veteran player. He has over a thousand runs in Test cricket. Mushfiqur started as a lower-middle orders batter but quickly rose to the wicketkeeper position. It took him 20 tests to reach the thousand run milestone. He was made captain in 2011 after which he has completed 3515 Tests. He also has 6697 runs in ODI and 1495 runs for T20Is.
Pollard
After the opening two games of the ODI series, West Indies require a win. The visitors are still in contention to win the series after a disappointing first innings. The defending champions lost their last two games and it is important that they win the final one. The first innings was a disaster for both teams. No one batsman seemed to be in the right place at crucial times.
Despite the bafflement that followed Pollard's exit from the field, the right-hander was able to get back into the game and finish the game. Pollard couldn't take the field after West Indies lost the last over. This has led to speculation about Pollard's health. He appeared to have an injury, even though he didn't appear to be in any pain.
Imam-ul-Haq
Pakistan all-rounder Imam-ul-Haq was injured in the elbow while playing against England in their fourth ODI. Though he was in terrific form recently, Imam was a major casualty in the fourth ODI. As a precaution, Imam was given xrays.
Babar Azam was elected to replace Imam-ul-Haq, who had been injured in the 13th innings. To even the series, the Pakistani team aimed for 210 runs. Fakharzaman and Babar Zaman made great knocks as Pakistan regained initiative and levelled it.

Babul Supriyo
Retired Army Officer Babul Supriyo was involved in an accident on his motorcycle close to Delhi's Cantonment. The accident occurred as he was driving to the airport to collect his daughter. His motorcycle lost control and collided with the rear end of the SUV. He sustained injuries to his left elbow and chest wall. Security personnel brought him to the AIIMS Trauma Centre. After arriving, he had been declared stable.
In July, Supriyo was removed from the cabinet by the BJP. Later, he joined Trinamool Congress. Babul was the party candidate in the Ballygunge assembly election byelection. He performed well in the cabinet and won elections two times under the saffron party. Supriyo, retd., stated that he was hurting by the government's decision to end his term.
