Game

The goal square refers to the area of the field where the goal is scored. Each goal square measures approximately 6.4 m by 9 m. It is located in front each goal face. There is a kick-off line which runs parallel to the goal line, and the nine-metre line is an imaginary line which is marked by radial markings. All free kicks made on the defensive side are carried to the nine metre line.

Umpiring is a rewarding career in Australian Rules Football. You can participate in your local competition as a volunteer and be assigned to matches at various times during the season. Matches are held on Saturdays at 11am and 12:30pm for senior and junior divisions, while juniors play on Sundays at 2pm.
